About Dr. Shapiro

Dr. Denise Shapiro is a graduate of Emory University and Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Her post graduate training was done at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. Dr. Shapiro became Board Certified in 1993 as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She has served on the American Dental Association Council on Insurance as well as the Committee on the New Dentist. Dr. Shapiro is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honors Society. In 1996 she was inducted into the International College of Dentists. One of her favorite projects is the "Give Kids a Smile" project, donating free dental services to deserving children.
